Stella Nova
Club History
Stella
Nova was previously known as the Science
Fiction Modellers' Club. Its original focus was
the construction of SF models -- from miniatures through
to costumes and full-size replicas -- however the club
has evolved a lot since, and is now involved with a wide
range of SF-related activities
(although the model
making is still going strong).
On 12 March 1997 it was decided that a new name should be adopted that better reflected the wider range of interests and activities in the club: so now we are Stella Nova: Science Fiction & Fantasy Club.
