Mailing List Charter

General

All mailing lists under @stella-nova.sf.org.nz use the standard charter, with these additional terms, and with exemptions as noted below.

Additional Terms

• You must subscribe to at least one of these lists to be able to post to any of them; furthermore only club members may post to the members-only lists

Exemptions

• The publicity list is exempted from the "no advertising" requirement, and there is no restriction on who may send messages to it.
• The snips list is exempted from the requirement only to use plain-text. The message-size limit is also increased to 200 kB.
• The all list is closed; it is only used for service announcements about the list server. Subscription to the all list is automatic if you subscribe to any other list, and (conversely) unsubscribing from the all list will result in all other list subscriptions being cancelled.

List addresses

Each list is established for a specific purpose; please choose the list which best matches the subject matter of your message.
